a late christmas and new years recap

with december being a crazy month for us, we decided to lay low for the holidays, which was quite amazing. we were able to hang out with family, visit with old and new friends, and even enjoy some time where we had NO PLANS (gasp!).  our friends also offered us keys to their napa home for a couple of days while they were on vacation and they then joined us for a nye celebration when they got back. a little trip (thank goodness for 1 hour drives!) closed out the holiday break on a very high note.
