oh my, how the time has flown by. livi sprouted her first tooth, with a few others looking to follow shortly. she's also become quite the snuggler (which i love), crawling over and climbing up on our laps to give a big hug. she still gets scared with new faces but eventually warms up and turns into the little social butterfly we know her to be. jacks now has four teeth and stands all by himself! you can see the concentration in his face as he freely stands, even cracking a little smile after a few seconds being on his own. both babies have developed a great new skill - clapping! i never knew this was even a milestone, but it's been one of my favorites so far. livi's been doing it for about a month but jacks had his first clap upon waking up in santa cruz one morning. clapping has become contagious between the two of them, and as soon as they start swinging those arms, they have the biggest smiles and even let out a chuckle - it's the best!
