go stanford!

it had been 13 years since i went to my last stanford game...sad, i know.  i have to admit i also wasn't too excited for the game itself.  we were taking leanne and her husband gregory with us and going to a big tailgate beforehand - really the only two things i was looking forward to.  after hours in the sun and carrying around 20 pound weights, i was pretty exhausted.

thankfully, a few things went well: i) the babies were phenomenal - they met lots of people, napped at the game and didn't even complain during this long adventure, especially when it was 9pm and we all hanging in the grass by our car waiting for the traffic to pass; ii) the game was so entertaining - as it got towards the end, i couldn't even watch because i was so nervous usc would catch-up quickly; iii) the whole fam stormed the field when stanford upset usc; and iv) we had great company!  we caught up with a bunch of friends and got to spend more time with leanne and gregory, who are obviously very important people in all four of our lives!

what do you mean, dad?
you don't think stanford even has a chance?
