on september 6, the babies officially turned nine months old! as always, the time is just flying by. while we're chasing them all the time now, they are also so much fun to be around...well, except when they're hungry or tired, but that's a given. not only are they constantly cracking each other up, which then makes the entire room laugh, but they are also babbling quite a bit and even responding back to us when we say mamamama, dadadada, blahblahblah (you get the point).
jacks' second tooth just popped through while livi is still all gums. livi is now an avid crawler and is pulling herself up too...now if only she can figure out how to sit back down! jacks is literally all over the place. he never sits still and is always trying to find something new to climb onto.
this morning they had their 9 month check-up. our biggest concern was whether we would be told to put them on a diet, but alas, she said they look great! livi weighed in at 21 pounds 2 oz (80%) and measured 28.5 inches long (85%)...her greatest asset, that head, is in the 95th percentile! jacks (a little heavier and a little shorter than liv...sorry, big guy) weighs 22 pounds (70%), measures 28 inches long (60%) and has a head in the 80th percentile.
we got cleared to start bringing them to football games, which is good since we bought stanford season tickets - no ear plugs or headphones necessary! time to start increasing their solid foods and decreasing a bit on the formula...hopefully, they don't protest. we were happy when the check-up concluded with the doctor telling us she literally can't find anything wrong with them - they're doing awesome!
