you have to wait four days before introducing a new food to make sure no allergy symptoms arise. after sweet potatoes, we moved onto avocado which they didn't think was nearly as tasty. next up will be oatmeal and then maybe bananas...so much fun to see their reaction to each new taste! our new challenge is to get them to stop grunting and yelling if we switch babies and give the other some food. i'm not sure how well i can aim a spoon with my left hand but i should probably start practicing so i can tandem feed...i doubt they'll mind if i get a little on their face!
they had no clue what was coming
what do you think, liv?
what is this sh*t in my mouth?
hmmm, tastes pretty yummy
what is this contraption heading my way?
not too sure about this
livi obviously wants MORE
now he's got the hang of it
swallow, big guy!
saving some extras for later
first feed was a success!
four days later = bigger bibs and avocado
she could tell by the looks of the green mush that she wasn't going to be a fan
