this weekend we celebrated julie's first mother's day! (don't tell bones we called it "first" - he's been giving julie mother's day cards for the last three years). jacks and liv really wanted it to be a special day so they could show their mom just how much they appreciate everything she's done for them for the last 5 months, plus of course 8 in utero. they meticulously planned a mother's day brunch, put together handmade, foot-stamped mother's day cards, and took mom on a nice stroll down to the marina, which was followed by a sweaty, out-of-breath, stroller-push back up the hill to get home (don't worry, dad did all the pushing). they even found time to engrave a necklace and make mom a book capturing their memories from the womb. later that afternoon grandma vivi, uncle mike and auntie keet came over and the whole gang celebrated with a mother's day dinner.
