june adventures!

june flew by as we had a fun and busy start to the summer, and as we geared up for our trip to mexico (where we physically are right now!).  we started our summer travels with a family camping trip...yes, even with lyla. about 15 families from our preschool spent a night in the great outdoors, and we had an absolute blast.  the kids had so much fun - it's amazing how they can entertain themselves for hours in nature - and all slept beautifully in the tents. even lyla was quite the trooper...and i was proud to say she was not the first one awake in the morning! while john and i probably aren't ones to initiate a camping trip, we will happily tag along if someone else is organizing. =)
