march madness

march has flown right on by. now that i'm done with some preschool duties, i've actually had downtime in the evenings and have been able to catch up on some really good (aka trashy) tv.  i'm also well on my way to finishing a book!  we have tons of pictures from the past two weeks, which means we've been having fun - both out on the town and just hanging around the house!

preparing for their rainy walk to school

preschool night party

the kids all made costumes to scare off the animals who
come at night to eat the vegetable they've planted

i spy the moon!

school is truly their home away from home

we love catching these sweet and simple moments

enjoying their pocky sticks that i bought myself as a birthday treat

birthday cupcakes

thank goodness we saved their halloween pumpkins
(the alternative was unused dog poop bags for their eggs!)

after a warm and sunny day, we were greeted with a special treat

sunday egg hunt at home

eggs included some cheddar bunny crackers

it's amazing how happy they are to find a single m&m

i had to console bones since he didn't find any eggs

bird's eye view

after the egg hunt, we worked on some puzzles

lazy sunday mornings at home can't be beat...

especially when it's full of bright smiles!
