3 years + 11 months...and 10 months

next month the twins will be 4 (although it feels like they are already 4 since they are the youngest in their preschool class, and thus we've been to 15+ 4-year old birthdays so far!).  they've been their usually silly selves lately, but have recently started arguing more with each other.  we try to let them work it out but it gets tiring when we hear: "no, i'm not", "yes, you are", "no, i'm not", "yes, you are"...over and over and over!  while still on the quiet side, lyla has started laughing and smiling quiet a bit.  she loves to clap, bang her hands on the counter, and wave at people when she takes a ride in her car.

ahhh...almost 4!

i hope 4 is easier than 3

they both are pretty much obsessed with
lyla (not sure she feels the same way yet)

lyla has become a big clapper

the pelle girls

lyft's youngest driver

she's also the sweetest driver

lyla met her match with baby hyde

needless to say, hyde was a huge hit with the big kids too

if you ever want a smile from lyla, put her in the swing!

livi and her mini-me

peek-a-boo

lyla gets free wagon rides all day long

the most adorable mousekateer

when your dog starts looking like your owner...

a tired but happy little girl!

hmmm, livi looks a little different today

finally, a little peace and quiet

learning in action

lyla's first big gulp

eating their gummy bears in privacy

jackson in action!

dr. doolittle...just like her big sister

bouncy house rock star

the fall has brought some crisp weather

we even got a day of rain!

more visits to the park

getting so big!

she fell asleep in the swing...oops!

while sheila was traveling, i took time off
work to hang with the kids

first stop was swim class for jacks and liv

we walked over to the dry cleaners to
drop clothes and happily accept a cookie

lunch at the park before school

jacks got to watch liv at ballet

livi had some great cheerleaders at class

lyla passed out during school drop-off so
i stayed a bit to read some books

i made a futile attempt to get work done in the afternoon

after what felt like a very long day, we stopped
for a mocha before getting the kids from school

everyone LOVED meeting baby rory
(leanne's "wee man")

rory made livi look like giant

first glimpse of her future mate

the kids have always needed to just get one tail lick...

to realize it really isn't as tasty as it looks!
