it was a happy father's day

i think everyone reading this blog knows how great john is...he has patience for days, which is needed in this household. although he may not have a smile on his face when he's sticking lyla's pacifier in her mouth at 4am or when he's about to step in the shower but is sidetracked to change (livi's) wet sheets, i'm (50%) sure he wouldn't have it any other way. i know that he probably can't imagine life any different - the kids love him dearly, and i couldn't have wished for a better partner in this whole parenting adventure.

our three little cuties

everyone painted their own letters

lyla did get a little hep from sheila

we let john sleep in on father's day and
headed out to pick him up a special treat

scootering builds up an appetite
(jacks chose hot cocoa, and livi chose an applesauce)

john's favorite thing to see when he gets home from work

a little scared of the finding nemo opening scene

strolling the neighborhood

it wasn't too long ago that she refused to get on the carousel

to get in a run, i've been known to run to soccer practice

morning stretches

watching me get ready for work

only john would work like this
