our little babies are almost diaper-free!! they still wear them for sleeping, but other than that they have been hanging out bottom-less around the house and recently graduated to wearing pants. we'll probably start the underwear soon, although we're a bit concerned underwear will subconsciously remind them of the feeling of wearing a diaper. so far it really hasn't been that bad - i probably say that because leanne has done most the legwork :-). on day two, she even took them out to the park, which then gave us the confidence to follow suit on the weekend! this past weekend, we put them in diapers just to be safe on a long car ride, but even after an hour in the car, their diapers were completely dry! we were even able to go to kim's house for the super bowl and had zero accidents (but it involved about 10 trips to their travel potty). overall, it has been a huge success! oh wait, except for poop. that ends up on the floor (liv) or in the sleeping diaper (jacks). both of them refuse to sit on their potty for poop - oh well, it's only week two, we'll get there someday...i hope. for now, we've rolled away our carpets and stocked up on cleaning supplies.
